Things weren’t exactly going smoothly for Zach Bryan, especially given the noticeable shiner he was showing off.
This past weekend, Zach chose a low-profile approach while in New York City, but the black eye spoke volumes, reflecting the heated weeks he had endured with fellow artist John Moreland.
According to a report from Variety, Zach recently signed a lucrative agreement with Warner Records, which guarantees fans will receive at least two new albums. Rumors also suggest he might be cashing in a phenomenal $350 million from the sale of his publishing rights!
On the flip side, Moreland didn’t seem particularly thrilled, taking to Instagram to make a biting comment: “$350M is a substantial amount for the f***in’ off-brand version of me. Have a great day, everyone.”
Zach, hurt by this remark, shared a screenshot of Moreland’s post, saying, “Just saw this from an artist I’ve always admired and supported.”
Interestingly, Zach mentioned that he and Moreland had worked together on a duet called “Memphis; The Blues” slated for his forthcoming album, *The Great American Bar Scene.* However, in light of their recent spat, he has decided to remove the track from the project entirely.
For now, it’s evident that Zach has much to navigate, starting with that black eye, which he later revealed was a result of an accident at home!
