- “AI: The Electric Pulse of Tomorrow,” Declares Michael Dell
- At the Opening of Dell Technologies World 2025, He Emphasizes AI’s Transformative Impact
- “AI Is More Than Just a Tool—It’s the Engine Driving Your Mission,” Dell Stressed
In a pivotal moment for the tech industry, Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies, urged businesses to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) or risk obsolescence. During his keynote address at Dell Technologies World 2025, Dell delivered a powerful message: “the real danger is staying stagnant.” He underscored AI’s immense potential to reshape operations across diverse industries.
“AI is the new electricity—and Dell is the grid powering this transformative shift,” he asserted, drawing a striking analogy that illustrates AI’s foundational role in today’s business landscape. The urgency to adapt, he argued, has never been greater.
Throughout his keynote, Dell presented the newly introduced “Dell Technologies Way,” a framework designed to drive growth by integrating innovative systems and services tailored to meet the needs of various sectors. “Our street is thrumming with your energy—your creativity and your data,” he declared passionately. “Whether you’re pioneering medical breakthroughs or leading a dynamic startup, data is always at the core.”
This was the backdrop for the debut of the next generation of Dell’s “AI Factory” platform, a result of its strategic alliance with Nvidia, a frontrunner in AI and graphics processing technology.
“For most organizations, AI may not be the final destination, but it certainly can enhance your mission,” Dell noted, emphasizing that businesses need not create extensive AI frameworks independently. He encouraged them to harness Dell’s expertise to streamline AI implementation, making it accessible and efficient.
“From advanced AI PCs to specialized models operating on the edge, and extensive planetary-scale AI data centers, Dell has a comprehensive suite of solutions at your disposal,” he added, highlighting the company’s broad capabilities in AI implementation.
Dell pointed out that over 75% of enterprise data will soon be generated and processed at the edge. “AI will be driven by the data—not the other way around,” he emphasized, reinforcing the idea that the future of AI is inherently decentralized.
“The future will demand decentralized, low-latency, and hyper-efficient AI,” he stated, positioning Dell as a frontrunner in the emerging edge AI movement, which aims to deliver real-time insights wherever data resides.
“At Dell, we place immense value on data—we store it, secure it, and transform it into actionable insights that fuel human progress. Powered by AI, this engine of advancement is accelerating like never before,” he affirmed, driving home the reality of rapid technological change.
“The pace of innovation resembles Mach 3—we are actively shaping the future,” Dell concluded, leaving the audience inspired and contemplating their roles in this evolving landscape.
