Skai Jackson has bravely stepped forward with distressing allegations against her child’s father, detailing a year-long history of harassment and abuse. The tipping point, she asserts, occurred on Mother’s Day.
The former Disney star has sought a restraining order from the Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging that Deondre Burgin assaulted her while she was holding their three-month-old son, Kasai, on that devastating day.
The legal documents reveal that Deondre allegedly pulled Skai by her hair, brutally slammed her head against a car window, and punched her in the face.
Skai recounted that this violent episode is only the latest in a continuous cycle of aggression that has plagued their relationship. She described a harrowing six-month period in 2024 characterized by physical assaults, choking, scratching, and repeated slamming of her head into walls. Additionally, he is accused of vandalizing her personal belongings, including her iPhone and television.
Among the most alarming claims, Skai alleges that during her pregnancy, Deondre coerced her to drink bleach in an attempt to terminate the pregnancy and threatened her with a knife, demanding absolute silence under duress.
In another terrifying incident last summer, she claims Deondre forcibly broke into a locked bathroom, violently shoved her against a wall, and choked her until she struggled to breathe. Skai asserts that video footage exists of this episode.
In prior reports, it has been established that Deondre has faced significant legal troubles, including being arrested last month due to an outstanding warrant. At the time of Kasai’s birth in January, he was already serving a 90-day incarceration for a parole infraction.
Skai has expressed concerns over Deondre’s possession of three firearms, including a rifle, compounding her fears for her safety. She has requested the court to impose a restraining order requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from her, their child, and her pet.

At present, Skai stresses that a formal child support agreement has yet to be established, and she is seeking not only to secure such support but also for Deondre to assume responsibility for her legal expenses amid this turbulent ordeal.
