However, on an unforgettable Wednesday evening, Hokie fans experienced something extraordinary.
They witnessed the magic of Enter Sandman performed live, as Metallica graced Lane Stadium with their electrifying presence during their M72 World Tour.
When James Hetfield, the charismatic frontman of Metallica, hinted at the track’s arrival towards the end of the concert, the crowd of over 60,000 erupted in jubilant excitement.
“I think we’re missing something,” Hetfield exclaimed, rallying the Hokies’ fan spirit with a chant of “Let’s go, Hokies!”
