Insights from the Nintendo Today app reveal that mouse capabilities will go beyond just gameplay, allowing users to interact with the menus via a cursor. A video has even been released to showcase this feature.
Echoing the controls seen in Metroid Prime 4, users can easily set Joy-Con 2 on almost any surface to activate mouse mode and simply lift it to switch back to traditional stick controls.
The demonstration available in the app indicates that while the Home menu’s layout remains unchanged, users can now select options using a cursor, enhancing the overall user interface.
