Reachel Mirembe, who has made a name for herself in the music scene as Recho Rey, recently shared her thoughts on motherhood in a revealing interview. When questioned about her plans to start a family, she admitted that she has never felt a strong desire to be a mother. At this stage in her life, she feels unprepared to take on such a significant role.
However, she remains open to the possibility of motherhood down the line, emphasizing her desire to wait for the right circumstances.
“I don’t feel that now is my time,” Recho Rey shared. “The concept of having baby fever isn’t something I’ve ever experienced. I hold mothers in high regard, and maybe it’s something I’ll think about as time goes on.”
Later in the conversation, Recho Rey discussed her fashion evolution. Reflecting on her transformation from a tomboyish look to a more sophisticated and glamorous style, she noted that it took her six years to fully embrace this new image, a significant shift facilitated by her team.
I still identify with my roots as a gangster, but now with a sexy twist. The journey to change my style was tough initially, but it feels completely natural to me now.
