Elgton Jenkins, the celebrated Green Bay Packers star with a staggering $68 million contract signed in 2022, recently found himself embroiled in a chaotic situation at a strip club that required police intervention.
Sources from Nova Play Sports reveal that on the evening of May 1, Jenkins and a group of friends made their way to King of Diamonds in Atlanta around 11:30 PM. However, the night took a sour turn when tensions flared between them and some of the club staff shortly after their arrival.
Despite having paid for their entry, the group soon grew disappointed as the atmosphere did not meet their expectations. This prompted them to request a refund, setting the stage for an escalating argument.
As tensions rose, a disagreement emerged over the refund process, which became increasingly tangled and heated.
The situation escalated to a point where the Forest Park Police Department was called to the venue, and body camera footage shows multiple officers arriving to address the unfolding scene.
Fortunately, calm eventually prevailed in the chaos, and the club managed to refund Jenkins. As a result, police were able to leave the scene without making any arrests or issuing citations.
Drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Jenkins has played a remarkable 87 games for the Packers since joining. His outstanding performance has earned him two Pro Bowl selections, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s premier interior linemen.
As of now, Jenkins has remained silent regarding the incident.
