A disturbing atmosphere unfolded recently in Miami when a viral video revealed an Uber driver threatening passengers with a firearm amidst a heated argument over their ride.
The driver, whose frustration is palpable, directed aggressive outbursts toward Krissy Celess, an emerging rap artist known as Bomb Ass Krissy, along with her friend. In an alarming twist, Krissy made a frantic call to the police, asserting that the driver was “harassing” them and indicating they needed to leave her vehicle.
Throughout the alarming exchange, Krissy and her friend insisted on their innocence, with Krissy remarking that the driver appeared to have “crazy eyes.” This comment escalated the confrontation, resulting in the driver drawing a weapon and aiming it at Krissy herself, further demanding that the passengers exit the vehicle.
Recognizing the volatile nature of the situation, Krissy opted to leave the vehicle. As she drove off, she alerted the driver that the incident was sure to attract widespread attention on social media.
It appears her call to action resonated, as Uber quickly branded the driver’s actions as “extremely concerning” and subsequently suspended her from service.
In addition, the Hollywood Police Department in Florida has launched an investigation in response to Krissy’s alarming report regarding the weapon display.
Fortunately, both Krissy and her companion emerged from the terrifying ordeal unscathed. As of Thursday afternoon, however, no arrests have been made in relation to the event.
Although we can’t claim to be rideshare insiders, one thing is certain: drawing a weapon is a surefire way to tank your driver rating!
