MiHoYo has just unveiled an exciting teaser for a forthcoming entry in the Honkai franchise.
During a recent livestream, the developer shared this tantalizing glimpse, yet withheld crucial details such as the game’s title. Instead, they encouraged fans to “stay tuned,” showcasing a brief 20-second clip that featured the beloved characters Kiana and Blade, along with what appears to be gameplay reminiscent of Pokémon or monster collection mechanics—though this remains unconfirmed.
“Bro, what?” mused a commenter on Reddit, reacting with surprise. “What’s going on? Kiana and Blade are in a hilarious mashup with some funky Pokémon vibes.”
“This concept was teased in earlier MiHoYo recruitment ads,” noted another user. “I believe it’s tentatively called Honkai: Nexus Anima. In a recent investor briefing, they highlighted that GGZ, HI3, and HSR all fall under the Honkai brand, separate from Genshin/ZZZ/ToT, which have their distinct identities. So, we can anticipate characters from GGZ, HI3, and HSR making appearances in HNA.”
“There’s also a title called Petit Planet in the works, resembling a blend of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.”

As Jessica remarked in Nova Play’s preview of Zenless Zone Zero, “While it boasts a rich combat system, a fresh urban setting, and an endearing cast of characters, something feels amiss. After test-playing the second beta, I found myself more perplexed than excited, especially following the successes of Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.”
