Rockstar Games has just unveiled the second trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6.
The captivating trailer hints at a gripping narrative: “Jason and Lucia have always known that life isn’t fair. Additionally, Rockstar has refreshed the official GTA 6 website, providing intriguing details about its main characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
Jason, yearning for an “easy life,” is finding out the hard way that such dreams often come with complications.
“Jason grew up amidst swindlers and con artists. After attempting to turn his life around with a stint in the Army, he ended up in the Keys, sliding back into a familiar role with local drug dealers. Perhaps it’s time for a real change,” Rockstar explains.
On the other hand, Lucia has been raised with a different mindset. Her father instilled in her the importance of fighting from a young age, and life has thrown numerous challenges her way. Despite her prison time, she is driven by a desire to achieve the idyllic life her mother envisioned.
“But rather than wallowing in daydreams, Lucia is ready to take charge of her destiny,” Rockstar notes.
As Jason and Lucia join forces, their hopes intertwine, but for Jason, “meeting Lucia might be either a blessing or a curse.” Tension brews…
In recent news, Rockstar has announced a delay in the release of GTA 6, pushing it from this fall to May of next year.
“For every title we launch, our aim is to exceed your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto 6 is no different. We appreciate your understanding as we take this additional time to ensure the quality meets what you deserve,” Rockstar communicated.
Moreover, publisher Take-Two emphasized that the company anticipates “continuous growth and record net bookings for fiscal 2026 and 2027,” despite the delay of this iconic title that’s on every gamer’s radar.
