Frank Gashumba has taken a stand against critics who have expressed disapproval of his choice of partner.
In a revealing interview, he challenged societal norms that suggest he should have chosen an older wife. “Why is it assumed that I need to marry an older woman?” he asserted, voicing his frustration with the societal expectations surrounding age in relationships.
Gashumba criticized many of his detractors as individuals who aren’t pursuing their own aspirations. “Some of those who are throwing shade at me haven’t led the colorful life that I enjoy, especially as of late,” he candidly noted.
“For those who think I should have married someone older, is that what you expected me to do? Choose someone like Annet Nandujja or Namirembe Bitamazire? If my wife appears too young, ask yourselves: is she underage? Those attacking Malaika are merely projecting their own insecurities,” he added firmly.
Gashumba reiterated that their relationship thrives on enjoyment and mutual respect, emphasizing, “Our life together is vibrant and rooted in love.”
