In an unexpected development, former NBA star Zach Randolph is now embroiled in a police investigation. This scrutiny arises from an accusation made by a woman claiming that Randolph physically assaulted her during an incident last year.
As reported by Nova Play Sports, the alleged incident took place in September 2024, following a loud dispute at a residence in the Los Angeles area.
Specifics concerning why there was a delay in the woman’s report are still unclear, but sources mention that she shared photographs indicating injuries she purportedly sustained from the alleged assault.
The police have officially logged a report concerning the domestic violence claim and have initiated an investigation; however, no arrests have been made thus far.
Despite several attempts to contact Randolph for comments on these grave accusations, he has not yet provided a response.
Randolph’s career in the NBA was nothing short of remarkable, spanning from 2001 to 2018. He earned two All-Star selections and averaged an impressive 16.6 points alongside 9.1 rebounds per game.
Since retiring, Randolph has smoothly transitioned into the media world, recently making an appearance on the “Out The Mud Podcast” with his ex-teammate Tony Allen.
