Fans eagerly awaiting the Xbox Series X/S early access of Fantasy Life i will need to be patient, as the launch has been delayed. Developer Level-5 has officially confirmed that the rollout initially scheduled for today has hit a snag due to “ongoing technical issues on Xbox’s end.”
This news was shared across Level-5’s social media platforms, cutting through the anticipation with a stark update. “The Early Access for the Xbox Series X/S version of Fantasy Life i, originally set to kick off at 3:00 PM GMT on May 18, has been postponed as we deal with persistent technical problems on the Xbox side,” the developer stated. “Currently, these issues are unresolved, which is preventing access for players on Xbox systems.”
Expressing their shared disappointment, Level-5 added, “We understand that players are excited, and it’s frustrating for us as well that we can’t provide access right now. Our team is actively collaborating with Microsoft to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, though we cannot yet provide a specific timeline for the Early Access launch.” They assured fans that updates would be posted on their official website and social platforms as soon as new information arises.
Additionally, the development team indicated they are “exploring compensation measures for affected players,” promising to release further details as those plans are finalized. It’s important to note that this technical setback does not impact the early access already available on Steam or PlayStation 4 and 5.
