The ongoing saga involving Diddy and Cassie has taken a significant turn during a federal trial, with Cassie disclosing that her settlement amount against the music mogul is an astounding $20 million.
During the third day of her testimony in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial taking place in New York City, federal prosecutor Emily Johnson pressed Cassie about a book she wrote that addressed the alleged mistreatment she suffered during her time with Sean “Diddy” Combs, her former boyfriend.

Cassie disclosed that her mother had helped her pen a “book of chapters,” which she intended for Diddy’s eyes. However, her attempts to get the chapters delivered through her attorney were reportedly ignored by Diddy.
When questioned about her financial aspirations regarding the book, Cassie revealed that her initial demand was $30 million. Emily Johnson then asked if she had taken legal steps against Diddy, to which Cassie confirmed she had initiated a lawsuit in November 2023, settling remarkably within just 24 hours for $20 million.
Previously reported details indicated that Cassie filed her lawsuit in federal court in 2023, where she accused the founder of Bad Boy Records of sexual assault throughout their relationship, as well as coercing her into participating in “Freak-Offs”—described by prosecutors as staged sexual performances that Diddy organized, filmed, and often took part in himself.
Last September, Diddy was officially charged with various crimes, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, intensifying the gravity of the current trial, which is now progressing into its second week as Cassie continues to share accounts of their tumultuous past.
