Bill Belichick found himself under scrutiny yet again at the recent ACC spring meetings on Tuesday, with questions swirling about his relationship with Jordon Hudson. Notably, his 24-year-old girlfriend remained out of the discussions this time.
During a brief Q&A with ESPN, the focus quickly shifted from football to Belichick’s personal life, sparking intrigue among fans.
Throughout the conversation, the eight-time Super Bowl champion faced inquiries regarding the recent rumors about his relationship, particularly a false claim asserting that Hudson was prohibited from accessing UNC football facilities.
“Honestly, that really doesn’t matter,” Belichick stated, emphasizing that their relationship is a personal matter and not linked to the football program. This sentiment echoed his well-known “We’re on to Cincinnati” philosophy.
He further expressed, “I’m excited to dive back into coaching meetings as we look ahead to June and August for our training camp preparations. June is crucial for recruiting, and we’re gearing up for the upcoming season.”
When probed about addressing the ongoing media narrative with his team, Belichick remained unfazed, providing what came across as a typical, football-focused response.
This engagement followed a hectic week characterized by sensational news, particularly after comments from former ESPN host Pablo Torre, who suggested that Belichick’s early coaching experience at Chapel Hill had created significant issues for university officials due to Hudson’s involvement.
However, UNC quickly refuted these allegations, clarifying that while Hudson does not hold a position within their athletic department, she is indeed “more than welcome at the facilities.”
“We’re not answering this.”

Earlier, both Belichick and Hudson garnered attention when Hudson interrupted a CBS Mornings interview, preventing Belichick from sharing how they met—a moment that quickly turned into a viral meme across platforms and delighted audiences on shows like “Saturday Night Live.”
Amidst the swirl of speculation, their relationship remains strong; recently, Belichick was spotted cheering for Hudson at her Miss Maine pageant just this past weekend.
