The eagerly awaited crossover between Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the popular survival horror game Dead by Daylight is officially set to debut on May 27. This collaboration has fans excited about a new chapter in both universes.
In a captivating social media post, the Assassin’s Creed team invited players to “Step into The Fog,” hinting at a thrilling new quest within Dead by Daylight. This announcement promises players the opportunity to navigate the dark corners and confront lurking dangers.
Accompanying the announcement was a short teaser that showcased characters Naoe and Yasuke around a campfire in a moment of tranquility—only to be disrupted by a menacing figure with arms and feet engulfed in fiery red. Though details about the crossover remain limited, fans are eager for more information expected to arrive soon.
Just last month, Ubisoft, the force behind the Assassin’s Creed series, revealed plans for several “special collaboration” updates as part of its ongoing free post-launch content initiative.
This announcement underscores the arrival of Shadows’ next major update, which will kick off this initial collaboration. Enhanced features such as improved photo mode functionality and new parkour animations will also be part of the May 27 rollout.
After this update, players can anticipate another substantial patch in June that will introduce a free story mission, complete with a new ally that can accompany you at your homebase. This update will also add new difficulty options and allow players to wear headgear during cutscenes—features that many in the community have been excited about.
