Renowned Ugandan filmmaker and innovative force behind Savy Films, Ian Akankwasa, popularly known as Sasha Vybz, has triumphantly returned to Uganda after completing the highly-anticipated music video for “Pom Pom.” This cross-border production was shot against the breathtaking landscapes of Rwanda and Tanzania, highlighting the artistic synergy of East Africa.
Featuring standout performances from East African music giants Bruce Mélodie and Diamond Platnumz, “Pom Pom” promises to deliver an exhilarating blend of audio and visual artistry.
This ambitious four-day shoot showcased over 40 dancers and featured 10 captivating vixens, highlighted by a custom-designed metal cage complete with pyrotechnics and a procession of six luxury vehicles. This production is setting a remarkable benchmark for music videos across Africa.
Slated for release in two weeks, this music video is poised to be a stunning visual treat. Sasha Vybz’s relentless pursuit of excellence solidifies his reputation as a leading figure in the African music video industry.
