Caleb Plant has made it clear that he is ready to step into the ring with Jake Paul, especially after Paul’s upcoming match against Julio César Chávez Jr.. In an interview with Nova Play Sports, Plant shared his enthusiasm for a future face-off with the influencer-turned-boxer.
Boasting a professional tally of 23 victories against 2 defeats, Plant shared his unfiltered thoughts on Paul during a recent event at The Mayan venue in Los Angeles. He conveyed that if Jake is keen to fight and earn some significant money, he’s on board.
“If he’s looking to get in there and fight, I’m all for it,” Plant stated with assurance.
Before any potential clash with Paul, however, Plant is focusing on his upcoming bout against Jose Armando Resendiz on May 31, which he highlighted as his current top priority.
“I’m not looking down on him,” Plant added, his resolve evident.
When discussing Jake, Plant expressed respect for his transition from influencer to athlete, acknowledging the courage it takes to compete.
Plant recognized that Paul could have chosen a different path but opted to embrace boxing, saying, “He didn’t need to take up boxing.”
