Against all odds, Inter Milan has orchestrated a “miracle on a shoestring budget,” showcasing their remarkable journey to the Champions League final.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport and relayed by FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri’s total expenditure on transfers stands at a modest €291.3 million.

In an extraordinary feat, Inter Milan has secured a spot in the final of the Champions League.

They’ve triumphed over formidable adversaries like Feyenoord, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona in this intense campaign, complementing their impressive performances against heavyweight clubs like Manchester City and Arsenal during the league phase.

Looking ahead, Inter is set to face off against Paris Saint-Germain in the decisive final come late May.

This marks the second time in just three seasons that Inter has reached the pinnacle of European football.

According to the Corriere, it’s worth noting that Inter’s financial strategy has been deeply remarkable.

The total transfer expenditure for the current squad sits at a mere €291.3 million.

In stark contrast, their opponents, PSG, have splurged approximately €700 million on player acquisitions.

Remarkably, the Corriere points out that among the last twenty finalists, only two have invested less in their squads than Inter this season.

One of these clubs is of course Inter Milan from their 2022-23 final run.

The other is Atletico Madrid, who assembled their lineup in 2016 for a more modest fee than Inter’s current budget.
