This joystick is crafted specifically for fans of Farming Simulator 25, aiming to take virtual farming to the next level.
Having already tested the Xbox counterpart, the SimTask FarmStick X, we were impressed by its vast array of inputs and precise control on PC. However, it did score lower in our review due to limited compatibility and its narrow focus. Thankfully, Thrustmaster has recognized the potential in the PlayStation market, leading to this new release.
It seems there’s an untapped passion for simulation games on the PlayStation platform, as Thrustmaster gears up to provide what modern gamers have been requesting.
While I’m not necessarily a simulation enthusiast, I have to admit the evolution of peripherals like the SimTask FarmStick is genuinely exciting. These dedicated devices do an admirable job of mimicking the controls of heavy machinery, and this one is packed with buttons designed for optimal operation during your virtual farming sessions.
Coming from a farming background myself, I’ve had the chance to sit behind the wheel of various modern tractors, most of which resemble gaming consoles more than traditional vehicles. Surprisingly, many of their controls echo the gaming experience we cherish.
The SimTask FarmStick PlayStation mirrors its Xbox counterpart, equipped with 18 buttons on the base, six on the joystick, two rocker switches, and even a mini-stick. The only notable change is the replacement of the Xbox button with a sleek black PlayStation emblem.
However, there’s a prerequisite to maximizing the SimTask FarmStick’s potential: it should be paired with a Thrustmaster steering wheel.
