Published
President Trump is looking to the world of Fox News once more as he makes waves with the announcement of Jeanine Pirro stepping in as the interim U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C.
The President took to Truth Social to share this exciting development, revealing that Pirro will be filling the role previously held by Ed Martin, who is set to transition to the Justice Department.
Known for her dynamic role at Fox News, Pirro also boasts an esteemed background as a county judge and a district attorney in New York.
In a heartfelt tribute, Trump remarked, “During her tenure, Jeanine was a relentless advocate for victims of crime, pioneering the first Domestic Violence Bureau in her Prosecutor’s Office in the nation. She truly excelled in every aspect.”
Trump further praised her, declaring, “Jeanine is remarkably well-suited for this position, and she’s regarded as one of the greatest District Attorneys in New York State history. She’s in a league of her own. Congratulations, Jeanine!”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Trump has drawn from the Fox News family; he previously nominated former contributor Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense.
