Hajjat Faridah Stecia Mayanja has spoken up about how Carol Nantongo almost got into a physical altercation with her when she attempted to apologize to her over their misunderstandings.
Speaking in an interview, Stecia Mayanja explained that before she traveled to Mecca for a pilgrimage to the kaaba, the House of Allah, she made sure to approach everyone she had wronged/offended to seek forgiveness.
Among the individuals she looked out for was singer Carol Nantongo. Fortunately, she got the chance to meet her backstage at an event where both artists were scheduled to perform.
On approaching her and trying to speak to her calmly, Nantongo paid a deaf ear to her pleas, and when she tried grabbing her hand so that she could speak to her face-to-face, Nantongo just forcefully pushed her away, causing chaos backstage.
The close onlookers saved the situation when they separated the two as Hajjat Stecia passed on her apology to Nantongo and later left and took to the stage to perform.
The beef between the two is said to have escalated when Stecia gave out her clothes to a couple of new artists in Eagles Production, and Carol set the clothes on fire, saying the clothes were laced with black charm to stunt their music careers.
